Don Juan V's Peruvian Sandwiches
We are a Peruvian Sandwich shop located on the southeast of Indy between Raymond St. and Sherman Dr. Our priority is to prepare the best quality of fresh food and provide excellent customer service. We serve the most authentic Peruvian Sandwiches in Indiana, and have the best sandwiches in town! A few of our favorites are the deep-fried pork sandwich (Chicharrones), the pot roast (Asado), and the best-seller steak sandwich (Lomo Saltado). We take pride in the fact that we hand-pick our produce and meat in order to ensure our customers receive the very best. The combination of crispy, local ingredients with Peruvian salsas and flavors delivers an explosion of sensational flavors to your taste buds.
How we began...
We have been asked this question many times. With 15 years of experience as a cook in a pizzeria and always having the dream of owning our business, we were placed in the path of the Tarazona Family. We are truly grateful for the kindness and dedication the Tarazonas spent in teaching us the culinary art of cooking Peruvian cuisine. They stood by us until they were convinced that we had mastered the Peruvian flavors. Yes, to everyone’s surprise, we are Mexican! We are honored and proud to cook Peruvian food. Peru has been ranked many times as being the “Best Culinary Destination in the World”, and we want to bring the taste of Peruvian cuisine to you. We love cooking the food and exploring new dishes to add to the menu, all while using authentic Peruvian spices.

We are family-owned and operated. I am the Chef, and my lovely wife is the manager and helps in the kitchen on the weekends. My kids work with us to provide awesome customer service to our wonderful customers.
